Megurine Luka ( 巡音ルカ, Megurine Ruka), codenamed "CV03", is a Vocaloid software developed by Crypton Future Media, headquartered in Sapporo, Japan. She generally ends her sentences with nyan~! (Meow) and is known for making a cat-like smile constantly, as parts of her cat-like personality.Ec. One notable example of this is when she, Honoka Kosaka and Nico Yazawa utilized everything they had in order for them to pass the exams required for them to be able to enter the Love Live! tournament. Rin herself is generally known by others for her intense love for cats and even going as far as to act like them.
Rin and Hanayo Koizumi, another idol in the series, had been childhood friends.
